TRIKAYA
The name “Trikaya” is inspired by the Mahāyāna Buddhist concept of the “three bodies” of the Buddha;
– Dharmakaya (Body of Essence): The unmanifested mode, representing the supreme state of absolute knowledge.
– Sambhogakaya (Body of Enjoyment): The heavenly mode, symbolizing divine bliss.
– Nirmanakaya (Body of Transformation): The earthly mode, depicting the Buddha as he appeared on earth or manifested in an earthly bodhisattva, an earthly king, a painting, or a natural object such as a lotus.
The construction of this building symbolizes the integration of these three aspects, creating a space that embodies knowledge, joy, and a deep connection to the natural world.
